Top 3 Intra-City Target Groups 1) Daily commuters & New Cab Category- Cheaper than renting cabs for daily short-distance commuters. Could be a cheaper Non-AC cab, replacing Auto & Bike services by Ola & Uber. Pickup & drop from location at fares of an auto, would increase appeal & demand for Ola & Uber as well. 2) Logistics- Could be modified as replacement for bikes, for last mile delivery, and so that damage to goods & salesmen by elements of nature is minimal. Also the mileage being roughly similar to a bike, larger quantity goods can be transported at same costs. 3) Learner’s Car Segment- To be used as a first car for teenagers, so that even in case of an accident, the damage to pedestrians is minimal. Could be used by driving schools/ New Bajaj Driving School(competition for Maruti Driving School) as a profitable alternative, sector demanding a 4 -wheeler vehicle necessarily.
Target Cities Mumbai- Last-mile accessibility in areas where autos are not permitted. Maximum population so maximum potential market. Income polarity demands cheaper alternatives New Delhi- Demands for less Polluting alternative to autos. Highest demand for Cab sharing, so the market demands for cheap cab rides(no surge charge). Safer than autos during intense fogs, cold and heat. Kanpur- Most dense tier-II city, autos are most used transportation. Most schools have no buses, safer alternative than autos for school children, and also during rainy season. Bangalore- Most people rent/pool Taxis. Qute cheaper for self-paying boarders, as well as Firms that give Cab facility complementary for employees. Kolkata- Affordable replacements for taxis, since Autos are not permitted in the City.
