The real question should not start with a “who”, but a “what”.
A “who” question gives us more opportunity to alienate and isolate ourselves from loving people.

Jesus expanded the definition of neighbor beyond the Jewish Scriptures.

Neighbor love was no longer restricted to only people who were just like me.

Which of these three was the hero in the story? 1. The one who saw the need and met it. 2. The one who knew the price and paid it. 3. The one who didn’t talk himself out it.
