What is leadership? Leadership is influencing people – by providing purpose, direction, and motivation – while operating to accomplish the mission and improving the organization.
What Leadership is Not • • Arrogance Ego It is not about your Career It is not about telling people what to do – it is about inspiring them to do their best!
Management “the act, manner, or practice of managing; handling, supervision, or control. ” The difference = you lead people, and you manage things!
