Bachelor Studies Offer of the Teaching Modules Programme of Studies: Business Management Academic year 2021/22
Rules of the modules selection: • Each student chooses 2 modules for sem. 5 and 1 module for sem. 6. The order of application does not matter. • The condition for starting a module is 20 registered students. • After the registration finishes, the Dean's Office will provide information about the open modules. • Students registered for the modules that have not been started, will be asked to reassign to the open modules. • Students who do not choose modules by the deadline, will be assigned to the open modules by the Dean for Student Affairs.

BRAND MANAGEMENT MODULE DESCRIPTION The Brand Management module will allow you to acquire skills related to the creation and management of a single brand portfolio of brands. During the courses you will learn how to create a concept of brand identity, how to test it and implement it by designing branded touch points. The courses in the module combine several perspectives necessary in brand management: research, strategic and creative. These courses will allow you to acquire and improve the skills related to creating and implementing strategic brand ideas, monitoring the brand position on the market, developing an existing brand managing a brand portfolio, developing and communicating a brand in a digital environment. The didactic methods within the module include conversational lectures and workshops based on project-based learning.

INNOVATION AND START-UPS MODULE DESCRIPTION The module has been prepared for students who intend to start their own business and are interested in market innovations. Its assumption is to provide knowledge on the creation of innovative business ideas that are adapted to the needs of changing economies and global markets. During your studies on this module, you will learn how to set up an innovative start-up, how to manage the process of generating and commercializing business ideas and how to obtain funds for it all. In addition, you will be able to create a professional business plan for a new business. Completing the module will allow you to: - start your own business; - become an innovation broker; - become an innovation director; - become an innovation management consultant.

LEADERSHIP MODULE DESCRIPTION The module prepares students to play a leader role, both as a team leader and as a manager in an organization. The module enhances students’ leadership competencies, including communication, team building, cooperation, strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making. It inspires self-reflection on how to build one's own credibility as a leader and gives an answer to the question what kind of a boss one should be and what competences one should develop to make people want to work with him/her.

MARKETING COMMUNICATION MODULE DESCRIPTION The module prepares students to plan and execute effective marketing communication, both within the organizations and in professional marketing agencies. The particular emphasis is put on the ability to perform marketing communication in an integrated manner, which aims to promote a brand through multiple channels that work together and reinforce one another, delivering a clear and consistent message. The module presents current knowledge and approaches in the area of advertising management, customer relationship management, online marketing communication and public relations, using various methods of active learning, as case studies, managerial games and team projects. Thanks to that students may not only learn how to operate in the real business environment but also improve their soft skills, which are necessary for managerial positions in the marketing industry, like decision-making, team management, critical thinking or leadership.

HR BUSINESS PARTNER MODULE DESCRIPTION The module prepares students to become an HR Business Partner in organizations. There is a special focus on recruiting and selecting people to organization together with employee development and performance appraisal. The module enhances students’ competencies through development of skills, knowledge and attitudes which are the most needed in performing the work of HR Business Partner. It gets students acquainted with the methods and techniques of communication and negotiations. Additionally, it provides knowledge on psychology of team-working.

SALES MANAGEMENT MODULE DESCRIPTION The module is intended for students who seek to develop their sales management competencies and skills. Students will improve their knowledge, skills, and competencies regarding the sales process and sales force management during the four courses. The module’s classes are conducted using modern presentation tools and techniques that allow developing sales management skills /seminar lectures, discussions, practical workshops, case studies, simulations and projects/.
