How we work From April 2018, funding officers in Scotland have been working in area specific teams. From initial enquiry to outcome, you’ll be in touch with funding officers who manage your local area. Our team manage grants, queries and applications from these local authority areas We want to make better decisions and really know the areas we support. Which is why it’s good to contact us to discuss your idea 2
West Lothian Grants In the last 5 years we have funded: 137 projects Total value of projects - £ 5, 957, 435 With a success rate of 50% of projects submitted being funded 9 awards made to Sports projects with a total value of £ 191, 490 3
National Lottery Awards for All Offering funding from £ 300 to £ 10, 000 to support what matters to people and communities We will fund organisations with great project ideas that: • Shape the places and spaces that matter to communities • Bring more people together and build strong relationships in and across communities • Enable more people to fulfil their potential by working to address issues at the earliest possible stage 4
Who do we fund? Constituted groups, with their own bank account Two or more unrelated board members Voluntary or community organisations including registered charities, constituted groups clubs, non for profit companies, community interest companies (not limited by shares), social enterprises and statutory organisations 5
We want projects we fund to be: People Led Strengths Based Connected 6
Sports Outcomes: We will prioritise projects that: Engage young people from our most deprived areas Engage girls and young women Engage disabled young people
