Who is Your AVID Teacher? Hi, I am Stephanie Allison and I am the AVID teacher/coordinator and KMS Cheer Coach. School Year 2021 -2022 will be my 6 th year in the classroom but my 25 th year in the Education System. My career in Education • Stephanie Allison started in Dallas ISD, then to The Rise AVID / Coordinator School, and this will be my 6 th year in Keller stephanie. allison@kellerisd. net ISD. I am a mom to Kaitlyn a college student Rm 303 at OU and Coleman who is at Keller High. My husband Doug and I have been married for 25 years and he works in the Oil and Gas Industry. Our family lives in Keller with our two dogs, Gunner a silver lab and Crue our rescue mutt. I an excited for your students to be part of AVID at KMS. WELCOME!!!!

Keller Middle School students using AVID have a chance to develop the academic habits they will need to be successful in middle school, high school, college, and beyond in an age-appropriate and challenging way. Children learn about organization, study skills, communication, and selfadvocacy. How Organization Affects Learning in Kids | Executive Skills Organization affects learning in four key ways. Weak organization skills affect kids’ ability to store and retrieve information for learning. Math can be particularly hard to learn for kids with weak organization skills.
