Your Task: 1. Create an interesting collage that integrates at least 2 different and unexpected scenes into one seamlessly 2. Complete personal critique of your artwork

How you will be marked Criteria In class work: - Full use of class time - Cleaned up after yourself - Followed steps in creative process - Used materials with care/respect - Met deadline - Used techniques learned in class Creativity: - Brainstormed ideas and organized in sketchbook - Idea is challenging and clever - Successfully integrates 2 unexpected scenes into one thoughtfully Craftsmanship - Images are fully adhered - Excess glue is removed - Elements are arranged with purpose - Neatness - Care and time taken to complete work Personal Critique - Complete and descriptive - Time and care - Uses proper art vocabulary taught in class Marks /10 /10 /20

STEPS 1. Look through magazines to get preliminary ideas 2. Sketch your idea into your sketchbook roughly 3. Cut out images from magazines using x-acto knife and arrange on a piece of paper (do not glue yet) 4. When you have found the proper positioning start gluing from the background to the foreground using rubber cement 5. Remove excess dry rubber cement using an eraser. . . CAREFULLY 6. Make sure the entire paper is covered. There should be no blank paper showing
