What is autocard? Autocard is the Automatic Microsoft Excel Based Form 138 Program / Electronic Cards of Learners which has the following features: 1. Provides printable card templates; 2. Makes quarterly printing of card entries possible; 3. Transposes entries in a single sheet to the individual cards; 4. Serves as the electronic cards of the learners in a particular school year; 5. Enables the teachers to accomplish the report cards anytime, anywhere; 6. Makes teachers’ work faster, easier and absolutely accurate; 7. Accommodates up to 100 learners; 8. Provides quarterly Ranklist; 9. Identifies the honors and academic merit awardees in every quarter; 10. Displays learner’s quarterly academic performance status and rank in relation to the class population; 11. Applies to Grade 1 -10 levels; 12. Makes use of hyperlink buttons for easy navigation across worksheets; 13. Automatically generates learner’s age; 14. Complies to D. O. no. 8, s. 2015; 15. Contains clear instructions. User’s Guide
1. 1 Go to "Data. Control" sheet by clicking its button. Click the yellow button. User’s Guide
1. 2 Provide the following information: Region, Division, District, School, Principal, Teacher, School Year, Grade Level, Section and First Friday of School Year. Select "DATA ENTRY" in the drop-down menu beside "Action" if it is not yet selected. Change all red entries if necessary. User’s Guide
2. 1 Click the "Blank Form" button in the "Data. Control" sheet to view the front page of the report card. Click the red button. User’s Guide
2. 2 Print the blank form in a letter-size paper (11" x 8. 5") according to the number of learners in your class. Number of copies should be the same with the number of learners in your class. Press Ctrl + P keys in your keyboard to enable Print view in your PC. You will be using the same sheets in printing the learners' individual card entries from first to fourth quarter. For the meantime, just fold the blank cards equally. User’s Guide
2. 3 Print the back portion of the report card on the opposite side of the paper. Number of copies should be the same with the number of learners in your class. Press Ctrl + P keys in your keyboard to enable Print view in your PC. You will be using the same sheets in printing the learners' individual card entries from first to fourth quarter. 3. 1 Access "School. Register" by clicking its button. Click the blue button. User’s Guide
3. 2 Type the names of boys in the appropriate column just below the "MALE" subheading in alphabetical order. Leave some spaces and type "FEMALE" subheading, and type the names of the girls below it. Provide Learners' LRN, Sex and Birthdate. Leave at least five spaces between boys and girls to accommodate future enrollees. Type “FEMALE” subheading before entering the names of girls. User’s Guide
4. 1 Enter the numerical grades of learners in the "Grading. Sheet" for a particular quarter as reflected in your class record. You may copy-paste grades from your Electronic Class Record (ECR). IMPORTANT: Be careful in copy-pasting the grades of learners. Please verify the owners of the grades from time to time. User’s Guide
4. 2 Click the "Core. Values" button. Click the yellow-green button. User’s Guide
4. 3 Type the learners' markings under each component. Type either AO (Always Observed), SO (Sometimes Observed), RO (Rarely Observed) or NO (Not Observed). User’s Guide
5. 1 Click "School. Register" button to enter monthly data for attendance and absences. Click the blue button. User’s Guide
5. 2 Enter the quarterly attendance of learners in the appropriate cells. Do not forget to provide the number of school days per month in these yellow cells. Number of absences will be automatically generated as soon as you enter the attendance data. User’s Guide
6. 1 To print card entries, you need to access the "Data. Control“ sheet. Choose the appropriate "Action" in the drop-down menu which will appear as soon as you click the inverted triangle button beside its cell. Select a quarter from the dropdown menu. User’s Guide
6. 2 Choose or type the beginning and ending months where you want the data for attendance and absences to be printed. Select a month from the dropdown menu. Failure to choose beginning and ending months will either disable printing of attendance and absences in a given quarter or duplicate the entries in the months that you previously selected. 6. 3 Click the “Grading. Sheet” button to view the names of all learners in your class. Click the tan button. User’s Guide
6. 4 Click “Front” page hyperlink to access the front page of the learner’s report card. Click “Front” page hyperlink. User’s Guide
6. 5 Print the front page entries using the blank form that you previously printed. Name of card owner is displayed on top of the page. Make sure to properly place the blank form in the printer’s paper tray. User’s Guide
6. 6 Click “Back Page” button to view the printable entries at the back of the report card. Click the red button. This is the learner’s academic performance status and rank in relation to the class population. User’s Guide
6. 7 Print back page entries on the other side of the card. These are the first quarter entries of “BOY, MALE A. ” (first learner in the list). This is the learner’s academic performance status and rank in relation to the class population. These printable entries appear as the result of selecting “PRINT 1 ST QUARTER” action in the “Data. Control” sheet. User’s Guide
6. 8 After printing card entries of a particular learner, click the “Grading. Sheet” button to view the list of all learners again. Click the tan button. User’s Guide
6. 9 Click the “Front” page hyperlink of the next learner in the list and repeat steps 6. 4 to 6. 9 until you finish printing the card entries of all learners. Click “Front” page hyperlink. Page hyperlink will turn purple if it has already been previously selected. Use this as a guide in printing card entries. User’s Guide
7. 1 To print entries for the subsequent quarters, you need to repeat steps 4. 1 to 6. 9. User’s Guide
***HELPFUL TIPS*** A. 1 You can view the quarterly Ranklist by clicking the appropriate button. Click this yellow button to view 1 st Quarter Ranklist. User’s Guide
***HELPFUL TIPS*** A. 2 Print the ranklist in a 13”x 8. 5” size bond paper for record keeping purposes. Learners who were categorized as honors are marked with yellow. Learners who were categorized as academic merit awardees are marked with blue. Quarterly Ranklist is the quarterly grading sheet that determines the learner’s individual academic performance status and rank in relation to the class population. User’s Guide
