Monday Plans • Division into groups – About 3 to 5 members per group – Generally people in related fields • Main activities – Discussion of questions provided – Brief large-group presentation of discussion highlights (Suggestion: Each day, choose a reporter for your group. ) • Facilitators will circulate.
Main Questions to Discuss (Monday) • From the three lectures: Which points are most important to remember? Which ones do you want to tell others? What questions do you have? • Regarding the sample paper “Authors’ criteria for selecting journals” and any sample papers you brought: How does the Methods section relate to the advice given this morning about Methods sections? • Regarding the draft of your paper: Given the advice in this morning’s lectures, what ideas do you and others have for revision, especially of your Methods section?
