Goals - The Higher Education Plan will help coordinate the historically grown Austrian higher

Goals - The Higher Education Plan will help coordinate the historically grown Austrian higher education sector and thus promote a joint, holistic view of the future developments of the Austrian higher education sector. - As a rolling overall planning approach for the tertiary sector, the Higher Education Plan coordinates the activities within the higher education sector while maintaining the autonomy of higher education facilities. - Increased cooperation among higher education facilities, improved utilisation of resources, harmonised definition of focal points and targeted profile enhancements will strengthen the international competitiveness of Austria as a higher education centre.
