The technology builds on the classic microturbine process, providing excellent efficiency gains over the competition Ordinary, 1 -stage recuperated microturbine New, 2 -stage turbine process with two separate shafts and two generators The process itself is well-known & demonstrated. However the technologies that enable this process to be used are new. Aurelia has extensive immaterial rights on these technologies.

We focus on our core and cooperate in the manufacturing with world-leading companies Our own focus & core know-how: PLC – Turbine technology: the 2 High Speed Units (HSU, shown in blue boxes) – Process know-how: software in the PLC = Know-how developed by our partners for us = ~ G C G – – T C T We own the product rights for these Some components within the HSU’s Recuperator Combustion chamber Product structure enables efficient manufacturing by 3 rd party companies in targeted areas – we still sell the whole product and keep the core in house. ~
Modular design enables easy maintenance and big amount of 3 rd party components provide reliability from the beginning Off-the-shelf, tested and proven converter / inverter train Industrial combustion chamber able to utilize large variety of fuels Industrial recuperator The image is downgraded for clarification reasons. The two turbine shafts – only components manufactured by Aurelia
Product design that meets existing market requirements – and opens new ones • High overall efficiency – Turbine benefits with gas engine efficiency • High partial load efficiency – Down to 40% load with comparable efficiency than the one of full load • Wide fuel allowance – All standard liquid & gaseous fuels – Very wide range of non-standard fuels • Low emissions – Typical to small turbines with relatively low temperatures • Low maintenance costs – Lower than competition due to active magnet bearings and small amount of wearing components • Easy connection with steam boilers – Enables efficient CHP already from 4 MW boiler size onwards – Practically no back-pressure limitations
