OVERALL EXPERIENCE Please comment on your overall educational experiences at Texas A&M and the Department of Agricultural Economics - please include areas you feel were important and those that might be improved. Very good educators The department is very active and keeps you in the loop. Avoid pushing lower level economics courses into other departments, it sours the experience for new students and does not reflect the environment in AGEC. Also, encourage under-performing students. Advisors need to understand there is more to a student that their gpa and school involvement. Overall I love the department and faculty, keep doing a great job. Overall, I had the best experience at TAMU and with the Department of Agricultural Economics. My overall education experience was good at Texas A&M. I enjoyed most of the professors and for the most part, the teacher assistants were helpful. It was great! Everyone is nice in the entire AGLS building! My advisors cared, my profs cared, and it was a great experience! So thank you!! I very much enjoyed the department of Agricultural Economics. The college truly felt like a close family where many familiar faces were present in classes.

Please comment on your overall educational experiences at Texas A&M and the Department of Agricultural Economics - please include areas you feel were important and those that might be improved. I transferred from Mays to the AGEC program. I found the financial planning program during this transfer. The financial planning program was phenomenal. I loves Texas A&M and I can not wait to do my masters there. I just want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to be an Aggie. I enjoyed every second of my time in College Station, every building, every classroom will be a different memory. I am very grateful with my professors, advisors and classmates that made me feel like I was at home. I had two separate experiences at TAMU and within the AGEC department. Initially, I lacked motivation and the personal responsibility to be successful. The department was more than fair with their administrative processes regarding my academic career. The military provided the focus and drive required to successfully complete my coursework. The department was understanding to my active duty status and more than accommodating. I never felt disadvantaged or uninformed from the department or the school. I could not have asked for a better experience.
