Summary • It remains unclear whether all projects wish to proceed to Phase-2. • Projects would welcome help from KT and Idea. Square to provide space; engage students; seeking new partners; writing the applications. • About one third of the respondents indicate a need for resources to keep going until Phase-2 (mainly manpower).
How KT & EU Group & Idea. Square (ID 2) wish to help • Assessing possible new, unforeseen use-cases or ideas for your technologies, with the help of also CBI-like MSc level student teams. • Seeking possible new partners for your projects and investigate possible ad-interim governance structures (GRADE) and IP questions. • Offering ID 2’s rapid prototyping facilities can be used not only by you to test your technology and host the student teams to work on potential, unforeseen societal applications. • Based on your feedback, discuss with the CERN management how best to keep your projects alive until Phase-2. • Following this meeting, we will be contacting you individually.
