• Know your role as a parent • #1 thing parents need to do is model appropriate behavior. Kids need to see parents model this behavior in stands. • #1 toughest thing for athletes post game is getting into the car and hearing analysis, comments, coaching tips, criticism, etc. • Parent message needs to be: I love watching you play. • #1 reason kids drop out of sports is the car ride home. Expectations of Parents

 • Take care of their academics • Go to class and be on

• Take care of their academics • Go to class and be on time (athletes have to be in attendance at least 50% of the day to practice or play) • Recognize and respect the diverse experiences and perspectives each player brings to the team. • Uphold the Athletic Code of Conduct—will miss games if you violate the Code • Social Media—we will not tolerate athletes making disparaging remarks or anything inappropriate through Social Media. Expectations of Athletes

 • Concerns expressed directly to the coach—not after a practice or game—schedule a
