Scenarios : Using Due Dates & Availability Dates Together Limit Submission Start Date Scenario: Keep students from submitting an assignment until a specific date, set an Available From date. Example: you set an assignment as due on Sept 19 at 11: 59 pm, but you do not want students to submit the assignment until Sept 9, set the Available From date as Sept 9. Note: Canvas automatically opens and students can start submitting assignments on Sept 9, Canvas will still notify you of Late Submissions in the Gradebook

Allow Late Submissions: Example, allow students to submit up to three days late after due date, set the Until date to three days later.
