Group Presentation: ‘Destination websites/portals: learnings from best and worst practices • 1) identify two destination portals (free choice), one representing a best practice and the other one representing a bad practice in terms of destination website development / design • 2) develop a group presentation: • ppt of 10 – 15 minutes presentation • 3500 words in the ppt (slides and ppt notes) – for the ppt to be submitted online by 10 April 2018

Group presentation content 1: evaluate the websites on the following issues: • Website design elements, i. e. content, structure, usability • Website functionality: services provided, type of users addressed, functionality related to which roles of the Destination management Organisation (DMO) 2: clearly identify and justify: a) why each website is a best or worst example (what are the good and bad elements of each website): and b) provide suggestions for improvements for the ‘bad’ destination website
