Improvement requires change, but change does not always mean improvement. ASSOCIATION OF STATE PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITIONISTS
The PDSA Cycle for Learning and Improvement Act Small scale test Series of tests Wide-scale tests Implementation • Adopt, Adapt, Abandon • What changes are to be made? • Next cycle? Plan • Objective • Questions and predictions (why) • Plan to carry out the cycle (who, what, where, when) • Plan for data collection Study • Complete the Do • Carry out the plan analysis of the data • Document problems and unexpected • Compare data to observations predictions • Begin analysis • Summarize of the data what was learned ASSOCIATION OF STATE PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITIONISTS
