ASEAN – German Technical Cooperation Clean Air for Smaller Cities in the ASEAN Region Key impacts so far • Budget for AQMt and institutional development on local level • Establishment Air Quality Research Symposium (Initiative by Iloilo) • Emission inventory guidelines on national level (IND & PH) • Harmonisation of approaches and standardisation (Regional level) • South-south cooperation (stronger countries help newcomers) • Mainstreaming of environment and climate issues in ASEAN bodies and “trickle-down” to member state authorities

ASEAN – German Technical Cooperation Clean Air for Smaller Cities in the ASEAN Region Indicators for 2013 - 2015 • At least 11 smaller and medium sized cities (0. 2 1. 5 m inhabitants) have developed CAPs • In at least 7 cities, CAPs are under implementation • At least three cities that were not beneficiary cities of the project implement clean air measures
