Each teacher will post a link to their Google classroom for each class. ● Students are expected to attend all “Real Time” classes ● Daily attendance and period attendance will be taken so it is important to be on time for class

LOGGING INTO EDGENUITY When logging on to the computer please use the following username and password procedure: Usernames are the students 6 digit ID number followed by @allentownsd. org. Student Passwords have all been reset to Minmen#1. Your child will be prompted to change their password the first time they log in. They should change their password to their ID number and the first and last initial in lowercase letters. An example would be David Jones ID number 123456 Username: 123456@allentownsd. org. Password 123456 dj This username and password will be used for Clever and Google Classroom as well as other student accounts this year. Your child should write down this username and password and keep it near the computer for safekeeping. If you don’t know your child’s ID number, you can find it on your child’s school ID, schedule or on Sapphire. Please call the main office for assistance if you need it.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS GUIDELINES � Appropriate Length: Approach the top of the knee, minimum fingertip length � No sagging � No hats or head coverings worn indoors � No inappropriate slogans or pictures (i. e. tobacco, alcohol, drugs, racial remarks, gang affiliations, or sexual connotations) � No low cut necklines, off-the-shoulder shirts, pajamas, or slippers � Pants or skirts with cuts or holes require an additional layer underneath to prevent skin visibility **See ASD Code of Conduct for comprehensive list of uniform guidelines

ATTENDANCE/TARDINESS ● Attendance will be taken every morning during 2 nd period ● Period attendance will be taken each period. ● Any student absent from school is required to send a written explanation signed by the parent/legal guardian to your homeroom teacher ● Students have up to 3 days to provide written documentation for the absence to be excused. ● By 6 th grade, chronic absence becomes a leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school ● Research shows that missing about 18 days in school negatively affects a student’s academic performance. That’s just two days a month and that’s known as chronic absence.
