Islam – Deen and complete code of life. Deen and Mazhab Iman (Faith Aqeedah) and Islam. Iman – e – Mufassal Seven articles of faith
1. EXISTANCE OF ALLAH: ARGUMENTS: q Discipline and control of universe. For the existence of Allah almighty, it is a real proof that this universe is working and running smoothly, without any problem. The changing of day and night, seasons, sun, moon, star, planets, galaxies, everything is working with complete discipline and with full organized way, it means that there is a controller who is controlling all this system. Therefore, Holy Quran says: q ﺍﻟ ﻱ ﺍ ﻳ ﺍﻳ ﺍﻳ ﺍ ﺍ ﺍ ﻯ ﺍ ﺍﻭ ﺍﻳ q “And the sun runs its course for its final destination; this is a command of the Almighty, the All Knowing. q And We have appointed positions for the moon till it returns like an old branch of the date palm” (Yaa-Seen 38: 39) q
q Agriculture. For the existence of Allah almighty, Agriculture is also a great proof because a cultivator sows a grain of wheat in the earth. Then an unseen power destroys it and brings out a tender leaf which is so weak and slender that a child can squeeze and destroy it. But who is he who gives so much strength that it bears the hardest of the soils to bring itself powerful and make its roots within the earth strong enough. Quran Says: ﻭ ﺍﻟ ﺍﻭ. ﺍ ﻭ “Have you seen what you cultivate, is it you who have cultivated or we are the cultivator” (Al-Waqiah: 63 -64)
CONT’ Milking Animals: Milk that is obtained from the milking animals are obtained from the animals who chew fodder, This fodder when eaten up, goes into the stomach and it makes blood in the upper part, and dung in the lower part but the milk is prepared in the middle part, and Allah lets it undergo a number of stages before it is stored in the udder in the form of milk and strangely it is hundred percent free from any pollution of dung, blood or any thing else. Quran says: ﺍ ﺍﺍ ﺍﺍ ﻟ ﺍﻳ ﻱ ﺍﺍ ﻳ ﺍ ﻱ ﻭ “And indeed in cattle is a lesson for you; We provide you drink from what is in their bellies - pure milk from between the dung and the blood, palatable for the drinkers”. (Al-Nahl: 66)
q Air & Water: Air and water are the basic requirements of a living being without this, life cannot sustain for a long time, particularly the air, without which a living being cannot sustain even for a few minutes. It is for this reason that its control and supply is exclusively in the hand of Allah beyond the human control. Quran says about air: آﺍ ﺍﺍ ﻱ ﺍ ﺍﺍ ﺍﻟ ﻳ ﺍ ﻯ ﻱ آﺍ ﺍ ﻭ And among His signs are the ships sailing on the sea, like hills. If He wills, He can calm the winds so the ships remain still on the sea surface; indeed in this are signs for every greatly enduring, grateful person. (Al-Shura: 32 -33) Quran says about water: ﻭ ﺍ ﺍﻭ. ﺍﺍ ﺍﻱ ﻭ “Have you observed the water that you drink, is it you who sent it down from the rain cloud or are We the sender. ” (Al-Waqiah: 68 -69)
q. Different creative stages of Human being: Allah, the almighty, has drawn the attention of human beings towards his own existence and reality, and told him that initially he was a sperm, a soulless matter leaved of life, which was developed into a clot and then a little lump of flesh, which was later developed into flesh and bones. Quran-e-majeed has described these stages in details as under: Quran says “And we created man out of clay than we made him offspring than we made into a clot than we made a clot into flesh than we made flesh into bones than we clothed the bones with flesh then we brought it out as another creation”(23: 14)
TAUHEED & SHIRK 2. ONENESS OF ALLAH: Allah is self-subsisting (continue in existence. ). All the creatures are responsible to him and depend on him. There is no other God to whom those can be responsible. Quran says: ﺍ ﻳﺍ آ ﺍ ﺍﻟ ﺍ ﺍ ﻭ “If there were in the heavens and the earth other gods beside Allah, there would have been confusion in both; But glory to Allah the lord of the throne (High is He) above what they attribute to Him “(AI-Anbiya 22)”.
CONT’ The Holy Quran has given a clear idea regarding the oneness of Allah. Quran says: “ ﺍ ﺍﻟ ﺍﻟ ﻳ And Your God is one God. There is no god but He, Most Gracious’ Most Merciful” (Surah Al- Baqarah-163) These verses of the Holy Quran tell us out of doubt concept regarding the oneness of Allah. The Holy Quran has given a comprehensive concept regarding Almighty Allah. The Holy Quran says: (3) ( ﻭ 2) ( ﺍﻟ ﺍﻟ 1) ﺍﻟ (4) ﺍ He is Allah, the only one, the eternally be sought of all. He begets not, nor was he begotten, and there is none equal to Him.
CONT’ 3. POLYTHEISM: Polytheism means to think that anything or any person is equal to a Allah in his personality, qualities or even in a single quality. The Holy Quran, has mentioned several acts of polytheism. Quran says “Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with Him, but he forgives except that to whom he wants”. In another place Quran says “Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great cruelness(zulm) indeed ”
CONT’ 5. EFFECTS OF ONENESS OF ALLAH ON A BELIEVER: a) b) c) d) e) f) Good deeds Freedom from worship of Humanity Brotherhood Man will know about his position Braveness Effect on his worldly life and life here after.
Predestination (Qadar) Qadar is one of the aspects of aqidah. It is about to believe that the divine destiny is when God wrote down in the Preserved Tablet ("al-Lauḥ al-Maḥfūẓ") all that has happened and will happen, which will come to pass as written. According to this belief, a person's action is not caused by what is written in the preserved tablet, but rather the action is written in the tablet because God already knows all occurrences without the restrictions of time. On the other hand, the causal relationships are also part of Qadar, since human acts affect what's stated in the Erasing And Stating Tablet ("Lauḥ al-Mahu w al-Ithbat"). The phrase reflects a Muslim doctrine that Allah has measured out the span of every person's life, their lot of good or ill fortune, and the fruits of their efforts. Again Allah does not need to force anyone to do good or evil by interfering with his will, and nobody will bear witness that Allah did so. When referring to the future.
Proof from Quran o Hadith According to the Qur'an, certain people go to hell because they chose to do bad deeds, and others to heaven by doing good deeds and even if Allah had chosen to guide them to the truth they themselves would choose to reject the faith: "And if Allah had known any good in them He would have made them hear, and if He makes them hear they would turn back while they withdraw. " — Qur'an, Sura 8 (Al-Anfaal), ayat 23
A hadith reports that Muhammad said about Qadr: Hazrat Ali narrated that one day the Messenger of Allah was sitting with a wooden stick in his hand with which he was scratching the ground. He raised his head and said, “There is none of you, but has his place assigned either in the Fire or in Paradise. ” They (the Companions) inquired, “O Allah’s Messenger! Why should we carry on doing good deeds, shall we depend (upon Qadar) and give up work? ” Muhammad said: “No, carry on doing good deeds, for everyone will find it easy (to do) such deeds that will lead him towards that for which he has been created. ” Then he recited the verse: “As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him, and believes in al-Husna, We will make smooth for him the path of Ease
Kinds of Qadar Three types of Taqdeer : 1) Mubram refers to inevitable fate and is not changeable. 2) Mu'allaq Mahz refers to that which is evidently pending in the books of the Angels and can be changed. 3) Mu'allaq Similar to Mubram refers to that which is not evidently shown to be pending in the books of the Angels, but it is in the Knowledge of Allah, that it is a pending situation (can be changed for example through the duas of Allah's chosen servants).
PROPHETHOOD It is a common tradition that if a person is made representative of some one, he will never make a statement himself. All the prophets are the representatives of Allah and they have to convey only the message of Allah. Prophet is the messenger of God. He guides the people to the right path, towards Allah. He will never say to worship other than Allah, Almighty. Similarly, Islam is the last and final religion and Quran is the last Book of Allah, which will remain unchanged till the Dooms Day.
CONT’ 1. NEED OF PROPHETS: q. To tell the humanity about the personality of Allah, His orders and his attributes, to know Allah without Prophet is not possible. q. Justice is not complete on the earth without the guidance of Prophet. q. To give knowledge about the unseen and hidden matters such as paradise, hell, condition of qabar, and the condition of the day of judgment.
CONT’ q To remind the Humanity about their promise and also illuminate their inner light and wisdom and also guide them to the correct path. q To save the Humanity to bow down for every worldly powerful thing such as fire, star, sun, moon, sea and lion. q To save the Humanity from the ideas of those naturalist and materialist, they are confused in their thoughts and contradiction in their ideas. q To tell the Humanity about the requirement of the blessings of Allah for the soul and body.
Cont’ 2. RANK OF PROPHETHOOD: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Highest position and prominent, Prophets are awarded by highest inner and outer qualities. There words and deeds are equal. Awarded with the miracles as proof for their Prophet Hood. They all are selected people by Allah and most righteous people. Allah knows who would be his Prophet.
Cont’ 3. CHARACTERSTICS OF THE PROPHETS: Giver of divine message. b) Giver of authorized divine law. c) He is the judge among all the people of his Ummah. d) He is the teacher of book and wisdom as he recite the Holy book, he purify the souls of people and explain the verses of book. a)
Cont’ 4. DEMAND OF PROPHET: Love and devotion as Holy Prophet has said “You will not become believers unless you should have the most love with me from your parents, children and from whole human beings. To follow and obey as Quran says “Obey Allah and his Prophets”. Again Quran says “Who so ever obey Prophet obey Allah”. Again Quran says “Say! If you want to love Allah, obey me”.
DAY OF JUDGEMENT/ LIFE HERE AFTER 1. DEFINATION: The faith of the “here after” means that the whole universe will definitely perish one day and after expiry all human being from Hazrat Adam (A. S) to the last day will again come to life and will be accounted for before Allah for all their deeds, good or bad, performed in their worldly life and will be rewarded or punished and will be sent to Paradise or Hell accordingly.
Cont’ 2. IMPORTANCE: q. Real life: Quran says “Decidedly the next world is the real life if you could know” q. Materialistic and Atheistic theory: About their theory Quran says “(The materialists say) For us there is only this worldly life in which we live and die and there is nothing like our coming to life again”
Cont’ q Need of Judgment: The study of history informs that the Human society is full of the oppressors and oppressed. Some are cruel and some are weak that they tolerate these cruel people silently and cannot retaliate although they want to take revenge. There is no justice in any society so it the demand of human wisdom that their should be a place and a day when these cruel people should be punished. q Argument of Non-Believers: The Non-believers had given the arguments which is discussed in Holy Quran and so Quran says “The Disbeliever said who will there who will bring to life the bones after they have been destroyed. Tell them that it will be revived by him who had initially brought them to life.
Cont’ Ø Ø THE BELIEF OF THE CHRISTIAN AND JEWS: Allah almighty has discussed about the belief of the christian and Jews that only they will enter to Jannah. Quran says “They(Christian and Jews) said that nobody will enter paradise except those who are Jews or Christians”. Allah almighty replied them in Holy Quran that who gave you surety for the paradise or you are the contractor of the paradise therefore he said in Holy Quran “That (The Paradise) has been prepared for the people who are pious” RECORD OF THE GOOD AND BAD DEEDS: Allah records the human deeds with four ways i. e: 1) Knowledge of Allah 2) Written in Loh-mehfoz 3) kiraman katibeen is writing 4) Seal of Allah on the mouth.
