SAP Ariba Interactive Manual This manual will provide a guided tour, showing how to interact with the SAP Ariba platform. The video will advance automatically, but if you want to go back or forward in the manual, it will be through the navigation keys on your keyboard.

RFI [Request for Information]
RFI – Request for Information Select from the list of events, which corresponds to an RFI by clicking on the event.
RFI – Request for Information When you click on the event, it will show the detail and you should follow these steps: Click on Review Prerequisites.
RFI – Request for Information In this section, you will see the prerequisites that Ariba requests to participate in the events. They are Ariba's standard requirements.
RFI – Request for Information Select the option "I accept the conditions" and click on OK Confirm by clicking OK
RFI – Request for Information Select the lots (materials or services) in which you want to participate In case of not participating in any position, the reason should be selected. Once selected, click on the "Send selected lots" button.
RFI – Request for Information - Filling Technical Information This clock indicates the time in which the event will close automatically. This section will appear for the Services, where the buyer will include the documents that he considers necessary to carry out the sending of technical information. We can download them by clicking on each of them. Here begins the filling of information. We must answer all the questions that the buyer has included. Depending on the type of question, there will be some that request an attachment as evidence of our response. We will attach a file by clicking on the button.
RFI – Request for Information - Attach a File By clicking on the button, it shows us this screen. A short comment should be added. Then click on "Attach a File" to select the document.

RFI – Request for Information - Operation of Buttons If any information was modified, by clicking on the button, the fields that perform some calculation are updated. This is for the case of Commercial Information This button is used to save the information captured up to that moment. This button is used to communicate with the buyer about the request before sending the information to clarify doubts about what is requested. Once reviewed and complete the information, with this button it is sent to the Buyer This button exports to Excel what was captured in the Request. Now, we will send a message
RFI – Request for Information - "Send Message" button Clicking on the "Send" button shows a screen similar to the way to send an email. This tool is very easy to use. Just write the message and click on Send
RFI – Request for Information - Read Messages To go to the Message tray and view the answers that the buyer has sent, we must click on the option "Event Messages"

RFI – Request for Information - Read Messages The message history regarding that event will be displayed on the screen We can send another message again by clicking on "Reply" or clicking on "Completed" to return and after that click on "Back to Console"
RFI – Request for Information - Send Response Once the information is correct and complete, you must send the information by clicking on the "Send complete response" button Confirm by clicking on the OK button
RFI – Request for Information Once the response is sent, it is possible to review and modify it only if the time of the event has not ended. To review the answer we click on OK.
RFI – Request for Information - Review Answer It will show us again the fields to be able to modify them. Once corrected and revised, the Response is sent again. This button serves so that the case that we have made a mistake and want to return to the last saved version.
RFI – Request for Information To return to the Events panel, click on this option A message will appear notifying the sending of the response.

RFP – Request for Proposal We select from our list of events, the one that corresponds to RFP by clicking on the event.

Sometimes the buyer will attach some documents that he thinks fit to give us an idea of what is being requested.

Note: For the case of Materials, There will be some fields that will be requested as: Discount per unit and Freight
