There was not a year where the people affected went above 100 million until the mid-1960 s. Number of people reported affected by natural disasters 1900 -2013 From the graph it can be concluded that the number of people affected by natural disasters has massively increased since 1965. Challenge: What other factors could affect how many people were reported affected by natural disasters? Be able to determine what makes a place risky to live in.
