ARD It entered into force in 1971. It acts on the territory of 48 countries ADR - a document which takes into account the recommendations on standardization and harmonization of norms and regulations in force in different countries and on different modes of transport. ADR - Agreement is an international agreement on common rules for transport of dangerous goods (DG). ADR Agreement developed by the European Economic Commission of the United Nations in Geneva. Title of agreement in French: Accord europen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par route (ADR). ADR / ADR comprises the agreement itself and the two applications are an integral part thereof and which contain the requirements governing the transport of dangerous goods by road: Appendix A - General provisions and provisions concerning dangerous substances and articles; Appendix B - Provisions concerning transport equipment and transport operations.
