Dr. Dorothy Miller, Presiding Dr. Dorothy Miller works in Office of Research and Graduate

Dr. Dorothy Miller, Presiding Dr. Dorothy Miller works in Office of Research and Graduate Studies at the University of California. She received her Ph. D in Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana. Champaign, and serves as the Chair of the American Chemical Society’s Younger Chemists Committee. Dorothy has been an active member of the American Chemical Society since 2002. American Chemical Society 3

Katrin De. Windt is the Assistant Director for the Fulbright Scholar Program, Western Hemisphere

Katrin De. Windt is the Assistant Director for the Fulbright Scholar Program, Western Hemisphere region at the Council for International Exchange of Scholars in Washington, D. C. She joined CIES in 2009 after relocating from Colombia where she worked with the Foundation for the Future of Colombia, an international non-profit foundation that provides financial support to Colombian citizens to access postgraduate study programs abroad. Prior to that, Katrin worked at Florida International University in Miami. Katrin has over 10 years of experience working in international education and student administration, and managing academic exchange programs. She earned her graduate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida and has lived in Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Mexico. American Chemical Society 9

Anneke Archer began working on the Fulbright Specialist Program in August 2003. Prior to

Anneke Archer began working on the Fulbright Specialist Program in August 2003. Prior to joining the Fulbright Specialist Program, she worked as a Program Associate with the Western Hemisphere division where she assisted with the administration of the traditional Scholar Program for U. S. faculty and professionals. A native of the Bahamas, Anneke obtained her Associates degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the College of The Bahamas. She also attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she obtained a B. A. in Environmental Studies, a B. Sc. in Economics and minored in Spanish, while serving as a Research Associate with the Economics and Finance Department. Her international experience includes professional trips to Chile and the United Kingdom. American Chemical Society 10

Alisha Scott is a Program Officer with the Western Hemisphere unit at the Council

Alisha Scott is a Program Officer with the Western Hemisphere unit at the Council for International Exchange of Scholars. She has over eight years of experience working with programs for language education and international education exchange, including work with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, American University’s School of International Service, and the Austrian American Educational Commission. Alisha has traveled and/or lived in numerous countries across Europe, Central America, and East Asia. In her current role at CIES, Alisha works primarily with Fulbright Scholar Program initiatives for Brazil, including the Fulbright-Brazil Scientific Mobility Program. American Chemical Society 11
