Architecture and Design � � The career that most interested me the most was architecture. This is a field I think I would love the most out of every career because it always has been a thing for me to draw or design structures that in the future I will want to build. There lots of fields in engineering but I would like to become an architect. Things I would like to learn is how much years of education will I have to go through to accomplish this goal

Nature Of Work � � � Seek new work by marketing and giving presentations Consult with clients to determine requirements for structures Estimaterials, equipment, costs, and construction time Prepare, design, and structure specifications Direct workers who prepare drawings and documents

Working Conditions � � Being an architect is mostly a mental job because all of the buildings or houses you must design but it can be physical job by visiting construction sites and mentoring the workers Nearly all architects work full time. Many work more than 50 hours per week. Working evenings and weekends is often necessary to meet deadlines.

Training, Qualifications � � To be an architect you must have a bachelors degree which takes 4 years I would like to go to auburn university to study architecture.

Job Outlook/ Employment � � � The job of being architect it going to be competitive for fighting for positions The employment rate is increasing. It doesn't really matter where I find this position of work

Earnings � � My lifestyle goals are to live a pleasant life and not ever have to worry about paying bills Average earnings for a architect is 72, 550 I think this will be enough for me to live I am thinking on going self employed into this field

Back up � � � I think a back up career for me would be a civil engineer It is very similar to an architect but more time at the construction site Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages Test soils to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations These are all responsibilities of a civil engineer

� I think this work field is something I would be best at. I love drawing structures. I would soon want to build these drawings. I also love building things in general. This is the career I believe that I would be best at
