Many Plans form a building Before construction of a new building (residential or commercial) there are many types of plans an architect uses to layout the construction process. They include (but are not limited to); Site Plan (Plot Plan) Utility Plans Floor Plans Elevation Plans 10 Environmental Impact Assessment Foundations of Technology - Mr. Ash 12/29/2021
Site Plan (plot Plan) A Site Plan is a graphic representation of the arrangement of buildings, parking, roadways, landscaping and any other structure. 11 Foundations of Technology - Mr. Ash 12/29/2021
Utility Plan A Utility Plan is a graphic representation of all utility lines and their placement to every building as part of the development process. Consist of the following; Water Main/Line & Placements Sanitary Lines & Placements Gas Lines & Placements Electrical Service Lines Property Lines Fire Hydrants 12 Foundations of Technology - Mr. Ash 12/29/2021
Floor Plan A drawing to scale, showing a view from above, of the relationships between rooms, spaces and other physical features at one level of a structure. 13 Foundations of Technology - Mr. Ash 12/29/2021
