Customer makes a reservation via phone mobile or social media where it require longer response time where the staff might not available 24/7 to interact with the customer 2. Longer waiting time where the customer has to wait while the staff checking the availability 3. Staff records the reservation details manually in a logbook and may cause misplacing of the data or information Customer choose date and time of reservation 2 Is it available? To identify the problems related to the current reservation system for Arang Batu Restaurant. 2. To design and develop an online reservation system for Arang Batu Restaurant. 3. (Longer response time - staff did not pick up the phone or staff in charge may not available 24/7 to interact with the customers) Develop a system where customers can visit to view menu list and make a reservation. Staff checks the availability of the table. (Increasing waiting time – customer has to wait while staff checking the availability) The system proposed should have a function where customer can choose at what time they wish to come and eat. Staff records the reservation details manually in a logbook. (Have some potential of misplacing the data or information) The system will store all the customer and reservation details in a proper database so that it will reducing the potential of misplacing the data or information.
