NPPS in the Region At present: - One country is constructing a NPP, the first reactor to be commissioned by end 2016 - Two countries are in a very advanced stage of starting construction. Technology chosen and contracts signed. - Two countries are actively preparing their NP programme - In 2025 the Arab region may have three NPPs work. 3
