RESPONSE AND "KNOW-HOW" How do YMCAs respond? On-Line On-line way of doing the following things: programmes, governance, strategic planning, education, communication, etc. 89% of local YMCAs increased use of on-line programmes. Vulnerable groups Special attention to vulnerable groups in communities. 27% of local YMCAs mention Childcare as the area in which they are most efficient. Mental Health Much attention is paid to mental health of youth, staff and volunteers. Basic needs Providing services to people that cover their basic needs: food, shelter, sanitisers, masks, etc. 33% of local YMCAs mentioned they were efficient in this.
RESPONSE AND "KNOW-HOW" How do YMCAs respond? Social entrepreneurship Teaching leaders social entrepreneurship as a new way of raising funds. Cooperation Widening a network of partners so as to reach common goals together. Advocating and lobbying for youth and vulnerable groups. Blended models in delivering programmes, membership, raising funds appear.
