A recorder is used to document that sterilzation was accomplished according to the local regulations. CUSTOMER NEEDS. ? Need to record the process temperature of the cavity ( T 1 ) , the internal pressure ( P ) , and optionally the inside temperature of the load ( T 2 ) in the sterilizer. ? Unit is delivered from the factory with the following configuration : Pressure inside the autoclave. Channel 1 ( P ) = Input 1 = 4 to 20 m. A Scale 1 = - 1 , 0 , +4 Bars. Channel 2 = Temperature of the cavity Input 2 ( T 1 ) = 50 to 150 Deg C Pt 100 Scale 2 = 50 to 150 Deg C. Channel 3 = Temperature of the product ( insert probe ) : Optional 50 to 150 Deg C Pt 100 Input 3 ( T 2 ) = Scale 3 = 50 to 150 Deg C. 2 Digital input contacts ( see here below ). No alarm output. Chart 0 to 100 linear , 100 divisions. Chart fan fold Special function ( ST ) The unit should be built with a special Print inhibit ? function as following : The digital input contact 1 makes this operation : ? At contact closure : - Start immediately the recorder in operation without making the chart references ( at the preconfigured chart speed ) - The unit prints : Date , Time , Chart speed , and recorder address. ? Then the unit records the process variables ? At contact opening : - The unit prints time - Continue to print the PV抯 until the memory buffer is emptied , but stop the aquisitions - Then makes a fast chart advance of 50 to 60 mm - Then , stops the recording.
