Appendix 1: ASB Case Review process flow chart Digital portal via: 2 working days • Tameside MBC website • E-mail • Letter • Telephone • Referral by Partner Agency 2 working days Tameside MBC Neighbourhood Services Single point of contact (SPOC) Neighbourhood Service SPOC sends Applicant’s ASB Case Review request and Agency Involvement Form to relevant partners, including timescale for responses. 10 working days 5 working days ASB Case Review (Formerly Community Trigger) Acknowledgement letter sent to Victim/Applicant, explaining next steps of the ASB Case Review and who their Single Point of Contact will be from the relevant Neighbourhood Service team. On receipt of the request for a case review, information will be sought from relevant partners to support the investigation Registered Housing Providers Tameside MBC Neighbourhood Services SPOC: Greater Manchester Police Response from agencies could require more than 10 days if a more complex case. ASB Case Review Council / GMP / Registered Housing Provider / Partners conduct partnership review, decide if threshold is met and make any recommendations. Independent Chair (ASBRAC) Partners Review of ASB Case Review response and sign off from Independent Chair – e. g. Chair of ASBRAC. Result of the ASB Case Review sent to Applicant along with any recommendations made. Resolution Escalation to Head of Neighbourhood Services if Victim/Applicant not satisfied. Further review “appeal” to be requested within 20 working days of date of ASB Case Review response letter. October 2014
