Before Installation • Check that Perl is installed in your system. • Check that you have an ANSI C compiler (gcc is preferred) (e. g. native c of sun - not ansi) • Download Apache source (tar). • If you want to run fastcgi - install the fastcgi development kit. 8 • If you want to use fastcgi - download the fastcgi module source and the fastcgi devkit.
