REGISTRATION DATES Ø Registration opens October 1 -31 Ø This is firm deadline set by the College Board, we will NOT be NOT able to extend it without you incurring late fees, so order by the deadline. Ø Order your tests as soon as you can to avoid lines in the Business Office. Ø Once LC puts in our order to the College Board, if you cancel your test you will only get back $54 of the $94 (the $40 will go to the College Board). This is a non-negotiable fee from the College Board. See Mrs. Meyer if you have questions. Ø If you do not take the test on the exam date without letting Mrs.

REGISTER ON THE COLLEGE BOARD SITE Ø This is the first REQUIRED step – otherwise we will NOT order you an REQUIRED exam! 1. Log into your College Board account. 2. Scroll down and click on AP Students. 3. For EACH exam that you plan to take, EACH click on the yellow “Register for Exam” box. This commits you to taking the exam and paying for it. 4. You must then complete the LC paperwork to pay for your exams (just like last year). 5. Both the College Board online step and the LC paperwork must be done before October 31! October 31

Ø If your family can pay, but might need extra time, see Mrs. Meyer, we can work out a plan! Ø If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, the state will pay 100% of your 100% testing fees! Ø If you don’t qualify for f/r lunch, but need help, see Mrs. Meyer in the Public Office. Please do NOT wait until the deadline to seek help. We’re NOT ready to help you today! AP TESTING Ø The AP window testing is May 4 -15 Ø This is the College Board’s schedule and we cannot change any dates. Ø If you know you are going to be gone on scheduled test day, see Mrs. Meyer to discuss the possibility of late testing (this may cost you $45 extra). This needs to be arranged as early as possible because the College Board needs to approve each request. Ø Most tests will be proctored at WSU Spokane, but some of the smaller tests will be at LC. We’ll get you more information about testing locations in April.
