What is the date of Anzac Day? We celebrate Anzac Day on 25 of April each year. Anzac Day is one of the most important national occasions for Australian’s people. It is the day when Australian solders landed at Gallipoli. Also, the day where Australian solders fought together as one nation for the first time.

Why do we remember Anzac Day? We remember Anzac Day because it is the day where many Australian soldiers died at Gallipoli. We remember them because they where brave and they sacrificed their lives for their country. It is also significant because it was the first time that Australians had come together as a nation for the first time.

What is Dawn Service? It is a ceremony where all Australian people come together to remember the soldiers who died at Gallipoli during the World War One. People gather at dawn and put flowers next to the soldier’s statue to pay respect to them. Also, some army people read letters from dead soldiers.

What is the Anzac Day March? The Anzac Day March is a day to remember all the soldiers who served at the war. The Anzac Day March begins at 9 am at Martin Place and Elizabeth Street. People participate to honour the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the war.

The Last Post The soldiers play an instrument called a Bugle, on Remembrance Day and Anzac Day. They used to play this instrument during the war at the end of the day to tell that the war has ended for the day and the soldiers can rest. Also they play it at soldier’s funerals to tell that the soldier has gone to his final rest.
