Evidence for the internal demand for an anthropology major: • reinstatement of the anthropology

Evidence for the internal demand for an anthropology major: • reinstatement of the anthropology minor following the hiring of two anthropologists • growth of the minor to a current level of 45 students • Well-received faculty Directed Study Abroad Program (Peru 2009) • reinstatement of the summer archaeology field school (AN 355; Beaver Island 2010) • reinstatement of the Anthropology Club with a mailing list of nearly 100 students • Increased number of anthropology classes from an estimated 2 -3 four years ago to 16 - 20 current course offerings • Increased number of Individually Created Programs (ICPS) in anthropology, and 4 new ICPs in progress
