WHO INFLUENCED ANSEL ADAMS • Origionally, his ambition was to become a concert pianist, however, this changed after going to Yosemite National Park in 1916 when he took his first photographs. • The photographer, Paul Strand, was the main influence on him to become an artist
INTERESTING STORIES • He helped photography become an art comparable with painting and music because he believed that photography is equally capable of expressing emotion and beauty. • He told his students, "It is easy to take a photograph, but it is harder to make a masterpiece in photography than in any other art medium. "
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT HIS ART I like how even though his artwork is almost all black and white, he still captures good photos by using interesting angles and choosing a good scenery
