The purpose of this program is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and to reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic standards and state academic assessments.

Who receives Title I services? § Students performing below the grade level standard in reading and /or math will receive intensive intervention on specific skills. § Students who need this intervention may be identified through DIBELS testing, STAR testing, classroom assessments and/or recommendation by the classroom teacher based on academic performance. § Based on the information gathered, the teacher will recommend the student to the Rt. I team (Response to Intervention). The Rt. I Team will meet on regularly scheduled intervals to review student data and make recommendations for student inclusion in Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. Students identified as Tier 3 will receive Title I services. § Parents will be notified by the Rt. I team if their child has been placed in a Tier.
