Origin of �到成功. This idiom came from the literary works of the Yuan Dynasty (1279 -1368 A. D. ), but can be found in stories tracing back to the Qin Dynasty (221 -206 B. C. ). The story starts with the victorious emperor Qin Shihuang (秦始皇) having conquered all the warring Chinese states. In 221 B. C. , he established the Qin Dynasty.

Qin Shihuang regularly went up to the mountains to worship and pray to the rising sun. Then suddenly, one day he heard about a divine stone with a flower marking on Rongcheng Mountain (容城山). The stone was said to have fallen from the heavens to the human world when the goddess, Nu Wa (女� ), was mending the sky. The emperor thought that the stone would help him build a strong foundation for his rule.

The emperor then demanded that a road be built for the journey to find this stone. As soon as the path was set, the emperor set off in search of Rongcheng Mountain. He also used this chance to show off his military force. When he found the stone, he held a sacred ceremony to worship it. After returning from his journey, he found that his empire had indeed become more peaceful and stronger.
