Most people think that pirates are a thing of the past. Not many people knew the truth. That there ARE still pirates, and katy was the meanest one around. 12/29/2021 2

Monday through Friday Katy was a good girl, in the fifth grade. However, when Saturday morning rolled around katy got the itch to go out on the high seas. 12/29/2021 3

Katy wasn’t a bad girl at all, except for pillaging and looting all over town for booty, but it was a part of her life 12/29/2021 4

One day, katy was buckling on her sword and putting on her muddy boots when her mom came in to talk to her, and she wasn’t very happy. “Honey, I’m tired of you Running around Terrorizing everyone, It just isn’t right” she said 12/29/2021 5

“being a pirates my thing mom…. I’m just not like everybody else. . sorry mom” said katy 12/29/2021 “Your scaring people, no one likes a mean dirty pirate…. . cant you try being nice…. I think you might like it” her mom said 6

Katy went out in a huff, angry that her mother didn’t understand her pirating ways n Katy was so cranky she decided to go to the duck pond on Boston Common and take over the swan boats. 12/29/2021 7

It was a beautiful sunny day and the birds on the pond were all swimmin With their families………Until Katy’s cranky pirate ship showed up. 12/29/2021 8

Before Katy knew it, it was too late, the baby duck had disappeared under the ship. Quack! 12/29/2021 10

Katy looked around, but all the other people and birds were too afraid to come close to her pirate ship. She quickly jumped over the side and swam down until her hands grasped the baby duck 12/29/2021 11

When Katy and the duck made it back to shore all the People were cheering and all the ducks were quacking away, Just then katy realized that what her mom had said about being nice to People was right. From then on she always tried to be nice, and only Went sailing with the geese, and that was the best booty of all. Arrgh. 12/29/2021 12
