Graduate School Editorial Office • Offers guidance to ensure all graduate students’ theses and dissertations meet UF’s high standards and are ready for electronic submission and digital archiving • Provides checklists, deadlines, and format guidelines, addressing the Graduate School’s requirements • Works hand-in-hand with the Application Support Center, the office providing workshops and one-on-one consulting relating to the formatting template • Refers to editors and/or formatters • Does not examine or critique content, scholarship, research methods or writing style; this is the responsibility of the student and his or her supervisory committee.

University Writing Studio University Writing Stud io The Writing Studio is a free service

University Writing Studio University Writing Stud io The Writing Studio is a free service for current UF students. Here, students have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a tutor. Their aim is to help students become more effective writers; they do not purely proofread or edit student work. Instead, they assist students to become better proofreaders and editors of their own work. They offer students individual, half-hour sessions with one of their experienced grad student writing tutors.
