Measure the Animals Can you find 4 animal toys at home? Figures, soft toys, even pictures in a book would do. If you don’t have anything, any 4 objects would do. When we first learn to measure we don’t use rulers and tapes. P 1 have already practised doing non standard measure. You use objects to measure. This can be anything you have a set of: coins, lego bricks, counters, dice, paperclips, beads. Measure how tall your toys / objects are with what you decide to use.
