Advancing to Each Grade Level In order to advance to the 10 th grade, students must have at least 6 credits by the end of the school year. To advance to 11 th grade, students must have at least 12 credits by the end of the school year. To advance to 12 th grade, students must have at least 18 credits by the end of the school year.

Foundation High School Program Foundation HS Program w/ Endorsement(s)orseents The FHSP provides flexibility for high school students to pursue either higher education or a career. A single graduation plan, the Foundation High School Program (FHSP) will give students the opportunity to build on the FHSP by earning Endorsements, Performance Acknowledgements, and a Distinguished Level of Achievement. Students will need to declare their preferred endorsement areas, in writing, during their 8 th grade year. Students will be able to change their endorsement at any time.

ACCELERATION OPPORTUNITIES Dual Credit (Richland) • Available to eligible students (qualifying test scores) • Beginning with first time 9 th grade in 2015 -16, dual credit courses will carry 5 quality points upon successful completion (70 or higher) and will be calculated in formal rank and GPA. • Courses offered on LHHS Campus: • Zero hour Govt. , Economics, and English 4 • Dual Credit English 3 and English 4 (during the day) • Some CTE courses • Students must take two courses per semester on Richland College Campus • AM or PM Session (students take two courses per semester) • Students can pick up information on dual credit opportunities in the counseling office.
