Analogies Project • Construct a visual image of an analogy pair using the technology tools available to you to visually demonstrate your understanding of the relationship between your assigned pair of words. • Construct visual image of an analogy pair using art supplies available to visually demonstrate your understanding of the relationship between your assigned pair of words.
Analogies Project • Each student will complete 2 analogies at or above grade level. • Each student will compose/construct 1 of their own analogy complete with BRIDGE statement we’ve used in class. • So each student is responsible for 3 analogies as part of their project. • You will receive one exam grade and one project grade for each analogy project. • 1/3 of the project is due today and the other 2/3 is due Tuesday.

RUBRIC • ACCURACY - Is the analogy answer correct 50% • FORMAT - Was it written correctly withe semi colons and was it written correctly with the BRIDGE statement - 20% • IMAGES - Are the images related to words in the analogy 15% • CREATIVITY - Did you use a variety of fonts and colors to enhance the message of your analogy - 15%
analogy assignment • DUE - Tuesday January 19 th in Mr. Perkins mailbox or printed out on your at the beginning of class. • Students in extra curricular activities - 1 is due before the game and the other is due on Tuesday. (You can stay up in the room with me to ensure at least 1/2 of the assignment gets done)
