Grow… • Grow healthy organic produce for your table and grow your community as well by coming together with your neighbors for work, play and reaping the harvest of your efforts!

Your… • Your participation as a friend of NOAH’s food pantry (Neighbors Organized Against Hunger) will provide an important source of nutrition for families in need in this community!

Own… • Own or should we say “rent” your very own 10’ by 10’ plot for a modest fee to cover costs. The soil has been tilled, tested and amended with nutrients. It’s time to plant!

Next, we’ll: • Spread soil amendments (Fall 2009) • Plant the cover crop (Fall 2009) • Plow it under (Feb 2010) • Lay out the plots (Feb 2010) • Install the irrigation system (March 2010)

Organization • • Oversight by church-community board of directors, meets monthly Agricultural advisors from local colleges (SRJC, SSU) • A volunteer local farmer to till the soil • Funding by ECS, quilt raffle fundraiser • Plots available with an annual application to the church, agreement to honor garden rules
