CANADA – GROWTH PROJECTS Potential for a 10 Mtpa business from current assets Roman Project Growth Projects Environmental Assessment Suspension lifted in April 2012. Final Stage of the Environmental Assessment Process – Decision expected before the end of 2012. Belcourt/Saxon Projects Notice of Work Permit Applications for Roman and Roman Northwest obtained in the last two months. Roman Phase 1: aim to increase saleable tonnage from last year’s 1 Mtpa (million tonnes per annum) to 2. 5 Mtpa by 2016 Roman Phase 2: aim to increase saleable tonnage to 4 Mtpa. Next Immediate Step: Initiate the Mines Act Permit Application Process. PRC Operations Challenge: Quadrupling production in less than five years PRC Operations is off to a good start by increasing production from 1. 4 Mt run-of-mine (ROM) in 2011 to a forecast of in excess of 2 Mt ROM for 2012. 4
