The national anthem of sri lanka is the Sri Lanka Matha. The capital city of sri lanka is jayawardenapura kotte. The official languages of sri lanka are sinhala and tamil The people of sri lanka are called sri lankans. Sri lanka is also known as the teardrop of the Indian ocean and its also known as the pearl of the Indian ocean and it is known as the nation of smiling people as well. Sri lanka produced tea , coffee , rubber , coconuts , cinnamon and gemstones. There are 20 , 277 , 597 people living in sri lanka. The currency of sri lanka is sri lankan rupee. The size of sri lanka is 65 610 square kilometres. Sri lanka is the oldest democracy in south Asia.

Juices are also very popular in sri lanka especially passion fruit juice. And there is a very popular dish called koolya which is made from leftover curries. A popular sweet is a kavun is a diamond shape. Side dishes in sri lanka include pickles , chutneys and peppers.
