NCSD Mission • NCSD focuses on the prevention of criticality accidents in areas outside of nuclear reactors – Promote the safe handling of fissionable materials outside reactors – Promote the art and sciencs of nuclear criticality safety – Provide exchange of technical information among NCS professionals through: • • Development of standards Evolution of training methods and materials Presentation of technical data and procedures Creation of specialty publications
