11 th Amendment n Limits suits against states n People in different states or foreign countries can’t sue a state in federal court
12 th Amendment n Procedure for electing President and Vice President n Electors meet in their state capitals to vote on different ballots for President and Vice President n If no candidate receives a majority of electoral votes Congress decides the winner n House of Reps decides President n Senate decides Vice President
