AMBROSIA - AFFORDABLE HOUSING BE PART OF OUR GROWING COMMUNITY

Overview • The Lower Similkameen Community Services Society (LSCSS) provides community services that improve the quality of life for its citizens. • Housing has been a major priority over the years and the Society currently operates multiple types of facilities serving Seniors and People with Disabilities. A “Housing Needs and Demands Assessment” commissioned in 2016, identified a continued housing shortfall in the region. • LSCSS was successful in obtaining initial funding for “Ambrosia”, a proposed 43 suite affordable housing facility in the heart of Keremeos, BC. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom rental suites will support the needs of mid to low income seniors and families with rental rates structured to meet BC Housing affordable market rents. • LSCSS is seeking financial support for this initiative. Your contributions will help us realize our goals and positively affect individual and our community for years to come.
