Amazing Love John 17: 23, 24 No Favorites Ø What is the scope of the Father’s love for His one and only Son, Jesus? The Father’s love for His Son is infinite – without limits! v The Father’s love for His Son is eternal – without end – Malachi 3: 6, Romans 8: 29, Romans 8: 38 -39! v

God’s love for us will not cease because of changes in us! Malachi 3: 6 (NASB) 6 “For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

The change is not our conformity to sin but our conformity to the image of His Son! Romans 8: 29 (NASB) 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

The consequence of this conformity is that nothing can separate us from God’s love! Romans 8: 38 -39 (NASB) 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Job spoke of this in confidence – Job 19: 25 -27.
